Dr. Jorge Bravo is the unsung hero and rockstar of Acre Dogs. He’s our go to Veterinarian in Cabo and has treated hundreds of Acre Dogs, your dogs.
Before our street pups can find their forever families, they undergo treatment and vaccination for a wide variety of common conditions. And sometimes more serious procedures and surgeries are required. Dr. Bravo and his team of Vets generously donate and discount many of their services to make sure we can keep doing what we do. His warm spirit and love of animals is evident from the moment you meet him.
If you find yourself in the Baja in need of animal care, please visit or refer a friend to Centro Veterinario in San José del Cabo. Or join him and us as a volunteer at the 4th Annual Spay & Neuter Clinic. We need 20 volunteers and more than $10,000 donated to go ahead with the clinic.

A friend of an Acre Dog is a friend of ours. For life. From those who adopt our dogs, to those who escort, foster and volunteer. We could not do this without you.
In late 2026 we will be hosting the 5th Annual Acre Dogs Spay & Neuter Clinic. DATES TO BE DETERMINED. Our goal is to treat more than 100 local dogs over 2 days. It’s one small step towards improving animal welfare in our community and every participant helps spread the message.

To pull this off, we must raise $10,000 USD to cover the cost of veterinarians and medical supplies. 100% of your donations and 50% of profits from sales go directly to the cause. This goal is part of the $100,000 needed annually for day to day rescue and adoption efforts.
Beyond the cash crunch, we need volunteers for a variety of roles. Whether assisting with surgery, keeping the doctors hydrated and organized, or offering a tender scratch under the chin as dogs recover from anesthesia, it takes a full team effort.
