Teddy.
We were looking for wedding venues in San Jose del Cabo when we found Acre Resort. As we toured the facility, we stopped by the Acre Dogs Rescue. Not only did we fall in love with Acre as our wedding venue, but also with their adoptable puppies. We had been talking about adopting a dog for a while and the stars aligned for it to happen at the place where we will get married on March 22, 2025.
One dog in particular, Acre Dog 1054, really stood out to us as he actually looked like a little Teddy Bear. It was a no-brainer that we’d name him Teddy. Claudia made getting Teddy home easy and seamless. She helped connect us with someone to fly him and foster him for a night before we got him and she checked in afterwards to see how things were going.
Just the
Three
of Us.
We are so lucky to have Teddy in our lives every day and cannot imagine life without him. He loves playing with our nephews, cuddling while we watch TV, making friends on Manhattan Beach and running around the backyard with his dog cousins. We are grateful for the love and care that Acre Dogs had for Teddy before he joined our family and their ongoing dog rescue efforts in their community.
We would be honored if you would consider a donation to Acre Dogs as the 3 of us embark upon our shared life together.
