Akira
needs
Help.
One of our beloved dogs needs the pack to rally around her. Affectionately known as Akira, Acre Dog 1130 is a popular pup who had several requests for adoption. We set up a foster family to transition to a permanent home and she was flown to Los Angeles. After only a couple days there, Akira developed an infection that required emergency surgery. We didn’t hesitate to say yes. She is now doing great and healing up under the care of her foster family.
ON
THE
MEND.
This type of procedure is manageable with our vets in Cabo, but in California it’s a different story and we were stuck with an unexpected bill of nearly $4000 USD. Funding is stretched thin after a challenging summer and new dog import rules in the USA. So we’re a little short and looking for some help from the Acre Dogs family.
We’d be grateful if you would consider a donation towards these medical bills. Any funds raised beyond our $4000 goal will go directly to our ongoing rescue and animal care costs.
